Analytics Engineer

What will you be doing?

• Build and maintain scalable data models and pipelines in dbt and Snowflake based on the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Defining the semantic layer: capturing KPIs, metrics, and business logic in code
• Delivering clean Gold-layer datasets as a data source for Tableau, Sigma Computing, Power BI, and others
• Writing (complex) SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and quality assurance
• Actively using AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to work faster and more effectively
• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to translate data needs into technical solutions
• Building domain knowledge with clients so that your data models always align with business practices

What’s on your resume?

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake in production environments
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Knowledge of data modelling and the Medallion architecture
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and agile development
• Analytical, quality-oriented, and proactive
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
